Hello,
My name is Nicole Nowak, I am the Community Manager for Engage 360, a movement by Californians for Californians. I wanted to get in touch with you because I feel there is already a strong sense of community through the Peralta Colleges and that is exactly what we’re looking for here at Engage 360.
We are looking to educate Californians about the simple ways they can get involved in energy efficiency and energy conservation in their communities and in their own homes. Our objective is to inspire Californians to make behavioral changes and take action now to reduce their home energy use by 20% by 2020. That is the Golden Goal for Engage 360.
A key component of Engage 360 is forging partnerships and working together toward common goals. We are actively seeking partnership opportunities where the Engage 360 message and goals can expand through existing networks as well as helping others share their goals through our network. To inspire meaningful change in others involves engagement at a grassroots level, which is why Engage 360 wants to work with leaders like you. Serving as a leader in your local community will inspire and drive local citizens to take steps to reduce energy consumption, easing energy bills, improving the local economy and ultimately build a future for California as golden as it can be.
Engage 360 is just getting started but I would love nothing more than to meet with you to discuss combining our efforts, so that together we can reach our goal of 20% by 2020. Would it be possible to arrange a meeting or grab a cup of coffee sometime this week? We would love to be a part of your Earth Day Event! I’m sure you have some questions about our organization so please feel free to email me or give me a call. Also, please check our website, Engage 360 , which should also help answer any questions you may have.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to meeting with you!
